Created new directory/version of an API and getting a WSOD

So, I was given a PHP based web service API who’s the only purpose is to fetch information from the database and send it to an IOS app. Mostly just GET and POST methods.

Here’s what I did, I made a version 2 of the app in the same directory by creating another folder named “v2″ and pasting all the files there. Now I access the api with localhost/api/v2/index.php and it works. But I can’t access the localhost/api/index.php it just returns a WSOD.

All files inside the /api/ and /api/v2/ are the same.

No error on apache’s error.log or access.log. Everything looks normal. Can anyone help me?
