Novels to Sharpen Your Mind

Scientific American  posted an article with “10 Novels That Will Sharpen Your Mind.” The novels are listed below, and you can follow this link to see why they chose each book. I’ve read numbers 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8, and I would count several of them among my absolute favorites. Have you read any of these? What do you think about their mind-sharpening power?
